TAJ Projects brings together the art and culture initiatives of Tariq Al Jaidah, a renowned Qatari art collector and patron. It also includes the TAJ Collection, one of the most important modern and contemporary art collections focusing on Arab and Iranian artists.
Al Jaidah’s entrepreneurial engagement with the arts began in 2007 with the founding of Waqif Art Centre in Doha’s Souq Waqif. Spanning across two decades, Al Jaidah has launched several significant initiatives such as Katara Art Centre, Eiwan Al Gassar, and Studio 7, further enhancing Qatar’s creative economy and supporting the vision of HE Sheikha Al Mayassa.
